Astrophotography Tour Terms & Conditions

Bookings are confirmed only once payment has been received in full.
On payment of the invoice you agree to have read & understood all terms and conditions.
Tours will go ahead with a minimum of 1 person booked or a maximum of 8. (Please enquire directly for groups of over 8 )
A parent or caregiver will need to accompany anyone under the age of 18

Visibility is weather dependant & not all parts of the sky are guaranteed to be visible on the night of your booking
Minimum of 50% clear skies are required to operate to ensure you get value for money
All experiences are weather dependant so please have a backup date in mind when booking

Once booking has been confirmed, changes to booking are at the discretion of the experience provider
An admin fee of 5% is non-refundable for any refund given on request of client with at least 7 days notice, due to weather related cancellations, or unforeseen circumstances. A booking transfer will be offered at the discretion of the provider. The admin fee will be held as credit and can be redeemed if the client is to re-book.
If experience is unable to run due to weather conditions, the client will be given the option of a refund or booking transfer, subject to availability.
Payment is 50% non-refundable if booking is cancelled by client within 7 days and 100% non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of agreed commencement date. A booking transfer will be offered subject to availability.
A refund will be given if the client cancels booking at least one week (7 days) prior to the experience date
Once the experience has commenced, full refunds will not be given if the experience is cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. A rebate of 20% (to a maximum of $100) &/or a discount voucher may be offered at the discretion of the provider.
A full refund will be given if the provider needs to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances

Booking transfers are subject to availability and will be made at the discretion of the provider
Alternative (backup) tour dates can be arranged but will not be guaranteed and dates will be kept available for other bookings.

This experience is weather dependent.
In the event of cloud cover, rain, ice, snow and strong wind, the booking will be refunded or rescheduled subject to availability

It is the client’s responsibility to dress appropriately for the outdoors
Warm clothing, hat, gloves, socks and shoes are strongly recommended
Refunds will not be given for participants who fail to attend or leave early due to cold weather conditions

Clients are solely responsible for their own safety, comfort and wellbeing during the experience
The provider does not accept any responsibility for the client's personal discomfort, illness, injury or damage to client’s property
Disruptive or intoxicated individuals will be excluded from the experience and will not receive a refund
The provider will not tolerate harassment/abuse of any kind. Refunds will not be given if experience is cut short for these reasons
Reckless use of provider’s equipment causing damage may result in experience being cut short and client(s) will be charged for damages
Your provider is First Aid trained in case of injury or health related emergencies during the tour. Always call 111 in an emergency

During this tour you may be offered to have a complementary photo taken, which will be distributed via a public Flickr account.
Should a photo be taken that includes you, by booking the tour you consent to the image’s use as marketing material and on social media platforms.
If you do not agree with this clause, please let me know before the tour commences so other arrangements can be made.
For exclusive use of unbranded images, there may be an additional fee per image.

Voucher is non-refundable and non-transferable for cash.
Voucher is valid for one year from issue date.
Voucher is valid for a single use only
Value of voucher can be supplemented in order to add more people to the booking or transfer booking to Twizel accommodation.
