Joseph was brilliant. He spent time explaining and showing my son how to set up his camera to optimize the photos. He shared his extensive knowledge freely. He has an excellent teaching style that fully engaged a young adult student for 3 full hours. It is a really good practical session that allows you to come away inspired and with greater understanding of how to get better at what is is a really interesting photography niche. As a parent I was really impressed by the educational package Joseph offers.

Joseph was knowledgeable about the stars and their locations among the galactic disc. It was a beautiful clear night and we were wowed by the universe. Joseph's knowledge and the way he presented to us with not very much knowledge, was excellent. Booking the session was easy and Joseph was easy to communicate with. We spent the majority of the time on deep sky photography using my camera (Sony A77) and lens (Sony AF 75-300mm Zoom) attached to his equatorial mount.
The session was insightful and I certainly learnt a lot. Joseph's in depth knowledge of the stars and how to get the best the equipment. We ended up with great photos of Antares, the Triffid and Laguna Nebulae, The Galactic Kiwi, Tarantula and Carina.
I would recommend Joseph to anyone who has an interest in Astrophotography and wants to expand their skills and knowledge.
