Relax into the evening with a private, guided stargazing experience, led by New Zealand’s own award-winning Astrophotographer, Joseph Pooley.

With a high-powered telescope and laser pointer, Joseph will introduce you to the wonders of the southern night sky, while creating a calm, intimate atmosphere in the lead-up to your big moment.

When the timing feels right, he will quietly position himself to capture your proposal, preserving every emotion, every surprise, and the starlit magic as you drop to one knee.

This experience is, in essence, an engagement photo shoot seamlessly disguised as a private stargazing adventure.

The session lasts up to 2 hours, and can be held at your accommodation in Twizel or Ben Ohau, or at a secluded dark-sky location nearby.

You’ll receive 10–15 meticulously edited images, delivered digitally both print and web resolution. Timeless keepsakes of a night you’ll never forget.
